Message from the Principal

Welcome to the Sierra Hills website and to our Woodsy Owl family!  

We are a Transitional Kindergarten through 3rd Grade school with nearly 390 creative and energetic students, a talented faculty, and a dedicated community of supporters nestled in a beautiful, park-like campus and atmosphere.

Our efforts here are rooted in a sincere belief that each child benefits from a team approach in developing socially, emotionally and academically.  Sierra Hills is your school.  I want to invite you to join our Woodsy Owl family in our academic day as well as for our special events and to partner with us in charting the course for all our children to grow an flourish.

We are intentional in implementing best practices in the world of education within our charming hometown school. Our beautiful campus is a wireless environment for teaching and learning. We offer 1:1 Chromebook labs in each of our small classrooms to further integrate technology tools and academic experiences.  The student library boasts over 10,000 titles with a full time librarian.  Sierra Hills is also home to physical education, music programs, art docents, and a thriving Running club.

With students' learning and well-being at the heart of our efforts, we will continuously strive for our highest and best here at SHS and look forward to working with you to achieve and celebrate. The sky's the limit for opportunities to succeed and shine at Sierra Hills!
